New standart HDTV in RUSSIA
Until the end of this year, the first national standard for digital high-definition television, or HDTV will act in Russia. By developing its own standard HD-broadcasting, Russia chose not to follow the recommendations of ITU, had offered for all countries in a unified 16:9.
